Just received an Accenture offer for a great software Architect role but the base pay was 79.5K, aside from being 1.5K lower then what I currently make, I’m also moving to a state with income tax. I’ve heard Accenture doesn’t negotiate offers but I’d really like to negotiate and I was wondering if anyone here has successfully negotiated for more and how you did that. I’m really only looking for 6-7k more Help! #negotiation #consulting #initialoffer
They won’t negotiate with new college grads but absolutely will for experienced hires. 79.5k is pretty much their starting salary, I would aim even higher tbh. Wouldn’t surprise me if they take you in at 100k
This is way too low but if you are not client and market then it kind of makes sense :/
Yeah, that’s low. Just ask for more and be willing to walk. Other good job offers will come. You have momentum now.
Even with 2yrs of experience?
Yes. Look on glass door. You should push for 100k and settle for 90 at the LEAST.
