Susquehanna International Group TC expectations
Got a call from the SIG recruiter. I am an L6 at Amazon making 500K. From whatever little I have read on Blind, seems like SIG pays less than its finance counterparts for SWE. Is it even worth pursuing? Can they pay like 600K+ for 10 yoe Amazon L6? tc - 500
Yeah, SIG's pay isn't that great. I would join them to get prop trading experience on my resume, but that would be as a stepping stone to something better later

It is crazy to expect 600k for 10 year swe, lot available in market for 200s. Unless you are able to prove productivity of 4 or 5 folks
It's not crazy, you need to come out of the WITCH bubble, most FAANGMULA pays that and finance is known to pay at par if not more than FAANG.
1 amazon l6 productivity is definitely more than 4-5 witch folks

Toxic workplace, no growth, very low salary. You would be better off anywhere else.
