I’m currently working with microsoft and want to switch to linkedin. So will this be consider as internal transfer? Can anyone has done this switch can let me know the process.
It is like an external hire in terms of interviewing, as said above, but there are some additional perks that feel more like a transfer. You should ask your recruiter.
unvested stocks are retained
It's like a totally different company.. also, if you are on a visa.. be prepared to jump the hoops all over again ...
If on visa, jump the hoops ?? Meaning ?
Meaning refile H1b, do PERM/I 140 for GC again etc.
Wait for H1b and the reapply for GC: do the PERM, haggle with previous companies/managers for experience letters, haggle with current manager and lawyer about bare minimum 'skills' needed for the job etc.. the works..
