Switching from Data Analyst to Software Engineer
Hi Everyone. I currently work at Autodesk as a data analyst, and I’m planning to switch to a carrer in Software Engineering. What path would you recommend? Should I try to find an entry level SWE role in Autodesk (possible salary decrease) and gain experience at Autodesk or study/practice software engineering along with being a dat analyst and then look for an entry level SWE position in some other company? YOE: 2.5 TC: 115k

Hello , I have a question , how is the compensation at autodesk for a data analyst ? All the calls I got were disappointing to me , probably the team that interviewed me did not have sufficient funds , not sure !
Auto desk has amazing sde projects is what I have heard . It might be easier for an internal switch , then to gain experience and then switch to other companies is my opinion
