Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Folks, need help. I have been working on the .net stack for the past 10 years. I am looking for job opportunities and the fear of having to start over on a different stack altogether scares me. I value wlb the most, how do I switch to a different stack. How difficult or how much effort it takes. Things that scares me the most are not the learning part but the corner cases or the familiarity with build errors and debugging them, Async programming in a different language etc. basic should be fine.
You'll be fine. Java is like C# from 10 years ago.
Facing same situation. DM if you want to keep the channel open to discuss. It's not the learning a new tool or language that sucks but it's being really proficient at it and getting familiar wirh the whole ecosystem. Don't see any other way than putting in the effort and ramping up fast.
