I only have 4 days to prepare (life got in the way) and I’m a SWE 2 with 0 experience or knowledge with SD. Already had to reschedule the interview, so what resource would be best? I’m not expecting a miracle but just want to gain some understanding of how to approach. I saw SD primer but it looks super long, first lesson is a 2 hour video. any shorter resource? TC: $220k
Watch one sample interview to know how it goes. Then do one mock interview. Become familiar with a drawing tool. 4 days is a lot. Look at the types of components that exist and understand the purpose of each and a situation when they are needed.
Idk bro. I spent weeks reading DDIA and prepping with YouTube videos only to get “design twitter” at my interview which I know most of the concepts around it (because I’ve seen it before), explained them well and my choices well, but still wasn’t good enough. Interviewer didn’t really ask anything just responded yes when I said if he was aligned Have a feeling they weren’t going to hire me anyway because who asks design twitter lol it’s way too common So tldr lots of it is luck and imo 4 days is not enough if you really want to know your stuff, but what do I know
Wat company?
Check ByteByteGo they have good tutorials to prep for these. Good luck.
