System Design in Google L3 new Grad interview

I just finished my Google onsite interview. I applied for a new Grad position and my recruiter told me i will have 4 coding Interviews and one behavioral. But one of the coding Interviews was a system Design interview. I wasnt prepared for that at all. I just have 6month of experience as an intern... What should i do? Write my recruiter immediatelly or wait for the feedback? I completly bombed that interview. I knew some basic concepts, but the interviewer pretty much had to give me hints through the whole Interview.

As a 3 year experienced hire, I was given a choice between 4 algo or 3 algo 1 SD interviews. You should contact your recruiter immediately if you were interviewed on something other than what you were informed to prep in advance.

Was it systems design or object oriented design?

Both. We started doing object oriented design and then also system design.

I think object oriented design is absolutely fair game for new grads. Maybe the interviewer wanted to know if you had any knowledge of systems design. I wouldn't worry.

I had fully object-oriented based interview in first phone screen at Google. That was considered normal by the recruiter when I reached out.
