I came to know that at microsoft event one of my interview is going to be on system design, so can someone tell me how do they conduct system design interviews in microsoft? Any example will surely help
No, we don't
Yes we do. Definitely in Azure.
Sorry but your design questions are a joke. I don't count them as real design questions.
Depends on group and team. I had a system design question as a part of my loop. A friend didn’t. We are the same level.
But still what type of design question? do they ask to draw the class diagram or complete overview of system from class diagram to database
There is a big range. For the level your talking about l60/l61 I'd guess pretty straight forward design. At that level I've seen things like design an Undo system for a word processor, design an elevator, design a concurrent hash table class. Then some are like what happens when you enter a url in a browser. All depends on the interviewer and the domain of the job.
So ignorant. Nothing mentioned by you is system design.
Hey pissant... the op asked what kind of design questions they were likely to get and I answered. For higher levels you'll get more system level design.
Which level are you interviewing for?
Its a event and i have 4 yrs of exp
