I finished onsite 2 months ago, but had only 1 domain match interview. I contacted my recruiter, but he said just waiting and I am not rejected. However, he couldn't answer how long I need to wait more. In addition, he confirmed there is no hiring freeze, and he keep sending my package to hiring managers who have potential open position. Am I rejected? YOE: 4 TC: 100K
Never heard of this.
Recruiter said this kind of interview process was started from Jan of 2020. So, I only had 2 round of onsite interview. 1st one was behavior, and 2nd one was pair programming session. I picked up one program in the given list, then write a code in ide by interviewer's request. Recruiter said my score was good, and he believed I could find team soon, but only 1 team asked me to domain match interview who was security domain for security bot, then left behind. However, recruiter keeps answer me, so I am very confused whether I am rejected or not, now.
I had my 3h TMo virtual on-site a few weeks ago, got a domain match interview the following week. My understanding on the process is that your recruiter reaches out to potential HM with your resume and on-site performance (and potentially your team/work area preference). If a HM is interested then the recruiter share with you the team description, then the domain match interview happens based on a mutual interest (you and the HM). There could be no HM or many HM interested in a domain match with you based on the info they have on you. I would not say you're rejected just because you don't have any domain match interviews coming up--could just be a lack of interested HMs. My recruiter also said many roles have been filled recently so my options were also limited in available prospective teams. Good luck!
Yes, that's what I heard from recruiter. But my interviewers gave me the positive feedback, and recruiter as well. So, I expected find team soon, but I only had 1, and that's it. So, I assume they listed various skill sets in job description, but their demand is very limited. If they only listed high demand skills in job description, and mine is not in there, then I didn't waste my time and all these efforts.
Start interviewing with other firms and get competing offers, that should get them motivated.
TMobile is one of these worst companies I have ever worked for.
Current T-Mobile employee here. Hired in 2020. You are not rejected, and to all those above commenting that T-Mobile is bad company and they are surprised tha tmo does domain match, are just ignorants. These are exact people we need to get rid off. T-Mobile is building up a very good strong base with new hires. You are not rejected, infact recruiter is working on finding new manager for another domain match. Might have to wait till next year since people are on vacation. But keep hanging there! You will like it here.
If you are on H1B then avoid T-Mobile. Their immigration department is the worst, especially if you need a GC application for your H1B.

Is this tech position? TMobile tech is crap. Go somewhere else. They got a whole management stack who are clueless about technology and rely on lower level managers who don't have a clue about software. You'd be dealing with junk code base. I've been with many companies and tmo was one of the worst ones.
How many times have they been hacked in the last 5 years? Lol
I mean.. not really surprising when you don't have anyone who even understands how oauth work.. so.. you might ask is that even possible? What happened to the people that know? Well.. they all gave up and left because people who don't understand technical stuff keep making up priorities and decisions.

Why you sound surprised? 😁. They started doing this in 2020 after sprint merger.
