Drummers of blind! \m/,

Curious if there are any drummers on blind? If you are, please mention your drumming experience, genre, what kind of kit do you play( if electric, please mention model, and feedback, looking to buy soon) Here’s mine: Drum ex: 5 years Genre: prog, funk, blues. Kit: basic no brand acoustic 5 pc drum Kit with mapex double bass pedal. P.s. let’s connect and help each other out!

Drum ex: 3 years Genre: still learning, so hard to tell, but deftones are a lot of fun to play. Also trying to get better with the double bass pedal, so e.g. emmure is quite fun. Kit: I share a rehearsal room where an okay kit is (no idea about the brand) Any book recommendations for double bass playing?

Awesome! Maybe start by playing double bass as fillers, instead of metal, blast beats. Check out Porcupine Tree. The drummer Gavin Harrison is a GOD! For metal, I’d say Lamb of god (Chris Adler) master of triplets!

Wow! Impressive! Few bands that you follow typically for drummers? Also, how was your feedback for Roland kit?

Amazon FAANGT Jun 10, 2021

Many bands like led zeppelin, the who, black sabbath, tool.. the Roland kit was pretty good, but I don’t like it only has one out channel for recording. I would recommend it if you have the money and want something that feels a bit more realistic than shitty electronic pads
