TC assessment for Chief of Staff role in SG

Got a potential offer for a CoS role in SG (Series A-C startup). Will focus on internal projects working directly with the CEO + managing 1 person. JD asked for 5+ YOE (which I have) They offered me SGD 120k + 40k RSUs. Is it a decent comp or is it a lowball offer? If it’s the latter, should I counter with higher base, RSU or both? Context- Lateral to Bain Blind tax- Current TC 90-100k #Chiefofstaff #Singapore

Did you tell them your current salary? Maybe that anchored the offer. I would start anchoring for higher salary and working from there.

No, I don’t tell them my salary. Curious to hear your process of anchoring to a higher salary with limited dataset (Not many CoS comp out there + even if there are, the CoS role varies vastly- EA like role, mid-role, experience director like role). Delicate balance between asking for more and losing the job all together.

Did I see correctly? Bain paying 100k TC for 5 yoe?

Peanuts 🥜 no? OP to confirm…! The salary at Bain should increase exponentially overtime and the offer wouldn’t make sense in few years time.

I didn’t start my career at Bain, worked somewhere else first
