TC at Shopify still low?
Hows the comp at Shopify? Is it still low relative to FAANG? I'm an underpaid IC6 interviewing for a L8 (maybe) role at shopify. Thoughts? I feel like there might be more pay upside with Meta, but better growth in leadership at Shopify. Also I'm pretty tired of working here and working in social media in general. L7 starts around 300 to high 300 or 400 I believe. Didn't have much data point for L8 tho
and that's the TC which you can allocate to cash vs stock options vs RSU. Of course, there are minimum/maximum for each portion
Is there a min of each? How does that work? Is it a dollar for dollar trade cash vs rsu?

L8 will get you 500-650 in the Bay Area I think. Not many L7+ folks out there. But benchmarking NYC based L7s, it’ll be in that range. L8 pay maps to L6-L7 range at meta.
It’s gone up a lot. But not the same company as before. You should be able to easily get higher comp than ur current TC as an L8
You can double your tc but company is a mess
