Why do most Israelis still think India is "dirty and disgusting"?
Bosch Sunnyvale offer for senior engineer position. Got a verbal offer 180 base 40% company performance bonus paid quarterly 16% personal performance bonus Tc : 279k Current : 200k ( LA area ) Is the offer worth moving from LA to bay considering the rising inflation ? Am I lowballed ? YOE : 5 year
That’s a solid offer. Didn’t know Bosch paid that well, but I don’t think it’s worth moving from LA to SF.
Definitely a solid offer. It's all cash that you receive here as opposed to equity. If you have competing offers you could try pushing base by 10k.
which team is this within Bosch?
Are the bonus guaranteed? If the company doesn’t do well are you out 40%???
They said last 5 years it has been 100%
I would counter that since the economy is changing this could potentially be the first year they don’t, and you need that compensation security built into the contract guaranteed. Dont trust these companies. I have been through multiple companies that have said shit like this then have layoffs n stuff It shouldn’t be a big deal for them to agree to this since in their own words “it has been consistently paid out last 5y”. If they refuse it’s a red flag they are manipulating TC with fake promised bonus
