Tableau vs Microsoft
Got offers for Program Manager from Tableau and Microsoft. Plan to choose one with better overall culture and future growth perspective. Which one would you recommend? Also can anyone at Tableau tell us about the culture post Salesforce. Current TC: 250k Tableau TC: 305k Microsoft TC: 305k

Idk, whose d*ck they had to suck to make their image into this employee friendly wlb friendly company when they will still make you work 12 hrs a day( seen this with 3+ friends at msft)
They just pay all their millions of contactors to write 4* blind reviews. Micropoop is the biggest astroturfing company in the world, happens with all their products

Tableau isn’t the same since SF took over. I would pick MS because SF does not give annual stock refreshes and I hear Microsoft does. The stock you get upon joining is it unless you get promoted which is rare. Ask the recruiter if there are annual stock refreshes. maybe some depts does it but I haven’t heard. Lots of People jumping ship here. I’m thinking same. Where would you want to move as a future prospect? I’m not sure what’s available for PgM. One pro is I don’t work 40hrs a week and WLB is good

What’s your level at Amazon? And YoE? Microsoft is huge and had lots of internal opportunities. But imo you can’t go wrong with either.

If L6, push for L65 at MSFT.
If you are on visa I guess MS is a safe bet
Microsoft is much better brand to have on your resume. Its a good company to work for compared to all FAANGs (except that it pays less, which is not a criteria here)
MS stock will perform way better than CRM in the coming years.
