Am a new grad with a bachelors thinking of joining Microsoft R&D in Cambridge, MA. The office borders MIT so it (should be) trivial to attend lectures if needed. Microsoft has tuition reimbursement up to 10k/year so it would be “free.” Thinking of taking some ML or data science classes. Is it worth taking grad courses while working or is it a waste of time? TC: 170k
Useful and worth doing plus you can network while there.
does MIT have part time programs for working professionals?
Yes, this would be under MIT’s Advanced Study Program.
Are these classes at evening/night?
Does our tuition reimbursement cover non degree programs? If you can handle the stress and workload, go for it!!
No, it does not
Do it. I’ll prolly be taking some of their ML courses next Summer
If you are interested in getting a degree, there is a part-time Masters degree called MIT SDM (System Design and Management).
It's full time masters program

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
Which particular classes are you interested in taking? Currently was looking at Harvard Extension myself
Machine Vision, Shape Analysis, and Machine Learning all seemed interesting based on their descriptions.
