I did not know the policy that you can not extend your termination by taking vacations even if it's already approved by the manager. But the policy says if you have written approval from the company, you may be eligible to get vacations. I was naive and unaware of the policy. Otherwise, I would have taken my vacations and then given my two weeks notice. Any suggestions on how to get the approval? There is a three weeks gap between my end date and start date, and I'll be losing a good money if I don't take the vacation. TC 180
Do they not pay you out for accrued leaves? Check that out. Usually they will pay it with your last paycheck.

Exactly only vacation days are paid out. Sick days and personal days are not
They do, but if you're around, you would get your salary + bonuses. Cashing out vacations considering the high tax + losing money on salary/bonuses doesn't makes sense.
