Tax Filing: 2019 F1 —> H1-B

I’m not sure how and where to file my taxes this year. Since I was on F1 till Spet 2019 ans changed to H1 from Oct.2019, who should i reach out for tax filing. Also, I had some ESPP shares sold as well aa my savings account interest accrued. Do you guys have any suggestions from your experience? Also, does Intel have any discounted tax service for employees? Thanks.

You need an accountant, not strangers on Blind

Hey, I know. That’s what I’m asking for. Any good accountants or online services that someone with similar situation has used in the past.

Use sprinttax, if you are not eligible to file it will direct you to turbotax. I did the same. When I was in opt I used sprinttax.

Do you mean I can use TurboTax, I thought it doesn’t have an option to file while we are on F1-visa?

Try on sprinttax enter all details, according to the information entered it will say whether it needs to be filed in sprint or turbo tax.

Same visa situation here. I'm planning to use Sprintax. Still waiting for tax documents from Robinhood though.
