Team Matching at Google
Hello Blind Community, So, HC for my interview is going to be held on the upcoming Monday. Recruiter is trying to do team match in parallel. I had a call with one of the managers, the call went well but his team works on different technologies than my domain. So, I have two options: 1. Wait for further team match irrespective of HC 2. Go for the team and later do a team change after joining? (To increase chances in HC) What do you guys suggest based on your experience? If I go with the team, how easy/difficult it is to change the team after joining? Thanks
He is trying to find a champion for you given your not strong packet.
He mentioned team matching is in parallel. Wouldn't that mean the packet is actually strong enough to go through HC without HM support?
Most happen after HC. If there is a sense of urgency, there’s a reason.
@Enig16, Can you elaborate on the headcount issues? I just got approved by Hiring Committee and will be moving to team match shortly.

Hey, my recruiter also told me that my feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They will present my packet to the HC this Thursday and since I have competing offers, she has started my team matching in parallel!

Level and location?
The level is likely L3/L4 and location is likely SVL.
It’s extremely hard to find teams due to headcount issues at the moment.
