Teams vs Slack
You think both will be around or one will knock the other out?

I think because you can get teams for free now with 365

Overall I like it more.
Previous company was so behind the times we used Skype for Biz still. No appetite from management for slack (or teams even, we were on 365) to increase collaboration when we had 3 offices across the world. Idiots.

It was infuriating. Like here we’re rolling out slack in the fall (no disrespect but you shouldn’t be shocked that we’re not on teams haha)
We use Teams. I like it except that it's painfully slow at times.

I used Teams for over a year and recently used Slack for a two month project. Objectively, so far, I can say Teams is a FAR better product.

I'm sorry, but Teams sucks so badly you won't believe it. As a part of our internal testing we (IT) switched to Teams entirely whereas the rest of the company us still on Slack. We hate it. It's like HyperTerminal crossbred with SharePoint.
The small percentage of folks who use Teams were forced to use it. Nobody really wants to switch from Slack. Eventually teams will die out.

I know quite a few companies that are using teams because it came bundled with their 365 subscription.
