Which companies will face this? I saw the news on Shopee... Any companies safe from all these?

My friend in an edutech startup Koobits mentioned her company laid off >50% of their staff. But were given options thus it wasn’t a retrenchment. I think there are plenty of such companies doing such measures just that it isn’t in the news
Bytedance is over invested for a while now. In the current environment, it can easily go south when some of the expected growth isn’t being realized
Mine is safe in Edtech, seems it depends on how well they spent the runway
Koobits?
Lingoace
Definitely not Koobits, as mentioned earlier, they laid off more than 50%. Perhaps lingoace or geniebook? They seem to be doing well
Lingoace is doing well, nice partnership with the learning lab!
