Doctors can work until they dont feel like it. I think max age for tech is like 55–60 if you’re lucky. If you dont have a few mil in the bank by the time you turn 50.. Uber driver.
Do you want to work for someone else that long?
From my experience, you are wrong. Why bother posting about things you don’t know anything about? My apologies if you are an over 50 former tech now Uber driver and I’m jumping to an assumption about that.
Don’t worry come back to MSFT when you’re 60
Ageism is pretty rampant in the industry right now, but I'm guessing it'll improve as the bubble plateaus/deflates and the "tech boomers" get older. Entry level is already oversaturated, meaning the median age will start rising soon.
1. You only need 1.5-2m to retire very comfortably. 2. If you can't do that by 40 you're a reckless spender Tl;dr very first world problem
In 30 years, we'll have solved everything, including human health and environmental sustainability. We'll master the cycle of producing -> consuming -> composting -> producing. There'll be machines that can suck out (or excrete) various gases, including CO2, into and out of the air so we can control carbon and ozone levels. Everything will be automated. We'll also all live on a universal basic income. Not just for one, but all countries.
