Tech companies hired

a whole bunch during pandemic without any economic reconciliation now we all have to face the grim reality of layoffs. Twitter per se has been really horrible given they didnโ€™t even were positive cash flow and no revenue upstream seen in years continued to hire and increase resource count by 30% YoY Meta, Snap had a similar story raising headcount by 2O% from 2020 to 2021 and then reversing course with Snap ๐Ÿซฐ snapping down 20% ๐Ÿคจ when ad revs hit. Hopefully this will all be good and back to normal coming year.

What's crazy is Twitter was paying employees $$$ even though they didn't have much to show for it. Staff PM's making 600-700k , I mean in what world is that ok
