a whole bunch during pandemic without any economic reconciliation now we all have to face the grim reality of layoffs. Twitter per se has been really horrible given they didnโt even were positive cash flow and no revenue upstream seen in years continued to hire and increase resource count by 30% YoY Meta, Snap had a similar story raising headcount by 2O% from 2020 to 2021 and then reversing course with Snap ๐ซฐ snapping down 20% ๐คจ when ad revs hit. Hopefully this will all be good and back to normal coming year.
What's crazy is Twitter was paying employees $$$ even though they didn't have much to show for it. Staff PM's making 600-700k , I mean in what world is that ok
PMs making that much is never ok
Elon made more changes in a week than I have seen in years
