Tech companies with good ramps up and training programs

Are there any tech companies with good ramp-up practices and training for new hires? By training I mean in training in tech skills that will help with the job and not mandatory corporate training. I find it very difficult to understand and get started when I am new at the job. I am not self starter, independent, etc types so any help in technical aspects will help me when I start at new company or team.
