I am a mid level SWE with a keen attention to detail and love for writing logically concise sentences. I am also interested in law. I feel like a lawyer role would suit my personality and skill set. Unfortunately i have a CS degree so maybe id have to get a law degree first. Is a tech lawyer a high paying profession thats in demand?
it’s expensive. take a bar exam prep class to get an idea if it’s for you
The pay lags behind swe pay.
Is high paying only when you have a special skills other lawyers don't have. It is more than suits "my personality". Law is a calling and is not about money, is about a duty to the Court.
Thank you for this perspective
After AI destroys all the jobs, attorneys jobs will increase.
