I’m currently a Talent Acquisition Recruiter at a tech consulting company making around $70K OTE including performance bonus. I’ve been reached out to by Meta and IBM, went through the interview process, and am currently waiting to hear back. The role at Meta is a Technical Sourcer ($95K base) and the one at IBM is a Talent Acquisition Partner ($100K+ base) I’ve asked for a raise at my current company but they said they could only give me about a $2-5K raise and that I’d have to wait until the end of the month for their decision. I really enjoy working for my current company and have an incredible team, but I also have a family I need to provide for being the only one working at the moment. Any advise for me? Any referrals would be appreciated! I’m looking for something around $105K-$125K OTE. YOE: 3+ Current OTE: 69K #recruiting #compensation #raise #referral
IBM pays recruiters 100K base? Holy clown world...
They do when IBM is looking fill 2,500 positions in 2022 :)
I guess because of there being so much attrition plus shifting all the work to low cost locations. Nobody with real tech skills and half a brain will touch IBM with a 10 ft pole. It ain’t a growing company, chief.
DM if you are interested in a referral at Google
Thanks! I just DM’d you.
No one wants to work at IBM and you’ll struggle so hard to get anyone good. Working at IBM will lead to regret that decision. IBM is a garbage heap.
Dang, didn’t know it was this bad at IBM. Thanks for the insight!
Good to know!! Thanks!!
Its a no brainer. Join meta and get into the mainstream tech recruiting market. Even though you are in recruitment, your compensation is also a function of the price your firm is able to pay its engineers
Right on, thanks for the tip!
