I'm into the habit of mantaining a file (which lately grew into a wiki) with what I learn at the job. Example: how one technology works, what are some fundamental trade-offs when trying to do X, design patters that I can reuse, behavioral observations, etc. These are all things that I think will be useful for me in future jobs, so periodically I sync it with the upstream version of the notes, on my personal Github. There is nothing company specific or particular about a project (unless it it is open source). Is this a bad habit? Anybody else doing the same? Do you think that any employer would have an issue with this?
I dont take note of the work i did but i will take note about technology stuff like how things work and tips
