Hey everyone! I have a technical phone screen for a data engineer role at Meta. The recruiter told me it’s going to be SQL and python. I am pretty comfortable with SQL, but not great with python. Can anyone share how many coding questions(python) can we expect in the phone screen? Also did anyone attend this phone screen recently? Can you share some questions? #dataanalytics #dataengineer #dataengineerinterview #meta #amazon ##data #datascience #tiktok #atlassian #bytedance #aws
I think it’s either SQL or python, not both. I had the screening last month. Feel free to confirm with your recruiter
Can you share! What kind of question they asked and what?
5 sql 5 Python
Role? TC mentioned?
PM for questions. Expecting some rewards though.
What kind of reward?🤔
We are at Blind. $$
How did you land the interview ?
You'll get 5 SQL and 5 python. It's about speed. And some of the questions can be wordy. If you get 4 right in each section, you're good. The Python portion is about string, array, set, and dictionary manipulation. Focus on sliding window and two pointer type problems.
I'd assume leetcode medium
How comparable is that to stratascratch medium?
Bayer - not comparable at all. Stratascratch is SQL based. LC is a different monster
