Apply for entry level electrical engineer job? Which field? You have enough experience to take PE exam and become licensed?

I have applied to so many to entry-level engineering positions. I want to work solar and green energy. Maybe grids or something like that. I'm open to anything now I need experience as a engineer.Im studying for the the FE now . anything else I should be doing?

Keep applying for entry level positions. Don’t get discouraged if you get rejected. Entry level is really a number game, you just have to keep at it. For solar and green energy, you probably want to start with design and drafting like design engineer and you should be working under a PE. Learn AutoCAD and Revit. Learn NEC codes. You are on the right track with getting FE. Learn some power system simulation softwares. The free ones are HOMER and PowerWorld. It’s a good start.

Of course. If you are capable. ?? Assume you can do low grade engineering for sure so yes

yup it can be done easily. you’ll need to go back to school for an EE degree. you can probably do it in 18 months full time
