You went from an Indian work culture (do something but pull each other down) to a Chinese work culture (do something and steal technology).
Why do u think 996 is less toxic than Amazon. So many amazonians go to TikTok and regret. Any global company forcing global collaboration like TikTok, atlassian, Huawei, tencent is terrible to work for due to hours alone
And Apple is not? Google is not?
TC: 240 Offer TC: 375.5 Former TikToker as well - perhaps because I’m not in a technical role I didn’t see the 996. The offer is for a role I’ve been trying to land since graduating from grad school which for me means that I’ll hopefully have an opportunity to grow and develop in that space. @Apple have you worked at either? Any folks in law or policy that can chime in?
Tencent America Gaming? If so which studio? I just accepted an offer at one of the California studios, no 996 so I'm not sure where people are getting that unless it's some tech/non-gaming division. I didn't have any issues with Tencent with Riot games in the past..
