Damn EE is abused
I think this is common knowledge but be aware there are hundreds of different job codes within each P1, P2, P3, etc. level and half dozen job codes within a title as broad as hardware engineer. All with different pay bands based on the application or speciality of your title. Also, pay bands are regularly adjusted, the longer you've been with any company the greater the variance against the current band and what new hires are making.

Is Tesla pay that horrible even at Autopilot? You aslo have to stomach a tough stock with a lot of risk. It's kind of crazy people will go there just for the social status
I asked a few weeks ago about Tesla or Zoox… 70% said to go to Tesla for less money. Then Tesla announced layoffs a week later and Im 80% sure my offer would have been rescinded 😂
