Tesla Model Y or wait for new Model 3?
Is it wise to buy Model Y now or wait for new Model 3 which might release next year? I am not interested in FSD, the reason I am considering Tesla is BMW, Merc resale value is too low, Accord and Camry hybrid falls in $40k range so I think Tesla is not too far from that budget. If not Tesla, would you suggest buying used BMW/Merc/Audi? #tesla

Shit quality, mediocre tech, expensive to maintain to start.
Tesla model 3 is basically a Corolla with minimum quality.

Unless you need FSD then buy Porsche or BMW. You can still use Tesla chargers (my mate always charges his X3 on Tesla supercharger)
U can get a connector from Amazon and use a Tesla charger. My friend does this for his Ioniq 5 when he doesn't find an electrify america nearby which by the way is gree for 3 years for him.
My friend works for a automobile parts manufacturing company, one of their clients is Tesla, they makes Tesla model 3 and model Y cockpits, the sales number of these two have taken such a big slump that they have reduced the production by 45% for the past 2 months, if you are hearing it's selling like hot cake it's just a false news. Also my friend himself doesn't own or plan on getting one in future too considering how bad their quality control division is, he got an Hyundai Ioniq 5 instead. If I were you I will explore and take any other brand over a Tesla even if they don't offer FSD. FSD or electric alone isn't a deciding factor to get Tesla. Hybrid nowadays are best alternative to electric. Very good mileage close close to 45MPG (a hybrid Camry with full tank of fuel gives you close to 700 miles), don't have to wait 30mins or more to charge ur car and gas station are available everywhere unlike electric if you live outside California. I drive a 2022 Camry XSE V6 which is built 100 times way better than any Tesla on the road today for sure. Before I finalized getting Camry I test drove model 3 as an option since someone suggested me, the moment I sat in model 3 and closed the door it felt like model 3 is built like garbage car. Yes it's built like garbage only.

Short Tesla
Not fsd, but charging network, tech and price is what is getting tesla all the sales. It’s extremely hard to ignore all the points where tesla beats all the competitors for any serious buyer with mid range budget.
