Elon will send you to the mars if you are capable and ready.. no perm no lca no h1 needed ..
😂
Lol oh god. The immigration team is one of the worst. They took 2 years for me.
Wouldn’t recommend moving here if you’re from India. Most likely they will start the process after a year, but they can let you go in 6 months.
I'm an Aussie and while they immediately started my transition from E3 to H1B so I can start the perm process (an internal requirement, apparently), there was a couple of 3-4 month periods where the perm process seemed to stall. It took over 2.5 years, but I've got my interview coming up soon. You need to keep hounding them
The real delay is not the immigration team like the rest of the angry employees above say; it’s dependant on the paperwork completion, vetting of “ulterior job prospects”, and depends on your background, origin country, and schooling. Everything gets vetted and any delay in your paperwork proof being timely is what causes it to be delayed; not people. The initial phase of the perm posting takes a while as is. Keep in mind the PERM process is supposed to vet that your skills are not locatable here “on paper”, so it’s not just a transfer of visa. You’re moving to permanent residence status. The fact the people above me can’t understand that is sad. Any questions - dm me. Been on the PERM process for about 3 months now.
Yea right keep drinking the kool aid. At google when I was there it was 100 times more efficient and faster. Also they file with premium processing. Tesla stopped doing that when we were cutting cost.
Alphabet has the financial capabilities to do such things with its immigration process. Are you suggesting a company worth a fraction of Alphabet should do the same for the shear benefit of a few more permanent residents in its organization? Definitely the kool aid talking when your user is under Tesla as well (?).
Are you moving to Tesla?
Yes
You need to talk to your recruiter and tell them to add it in your offer. Otherwise it's just empty talks. Usually employers will monitor a year before starting an i140 application. If you have it in black and white, then you can pressure them to start early.
