Tesla energy work culture
Hello, I am looking to get some information about tesla energy division. i am trying to apply for firmware engineer role. How’s work culture there? I read reviews, is it really worst culture or its not that bad. Is it always need to work overtime or sometime. Any inputs will be really helpful. thanks.
I know the role that you are talking about. First step is phone screen with the Director of the team. Nothing technical but just general convo. Next step is interview with the managers under him. I got out after this step because they outright said they can’t offer me a senior position if I were to move forward with them. Apart from the general culture of Tesla you should specifically ask the Director about his expectation from his team. Let me tell you that you are in for a surprise.

I would rather not mention it here. Actually just talk to him first if you are already past the recruiter stage. I think you will get the hang of it.
