Tesla is NOT a car company!!!!! Because the vast majority of their revenue/profit doesn’t come from car sales. It’s just a regulatory credit selling company, since that’s the only reason why they’re profitable.
Lol, welcome to 2015, when people already realized it's not an automaker. It's about battery. Always has been. Also they made more money from their bitcoin purchase than car sales. We don't have to change your mind, that is the reality. You just didn't know it
Its also not a battery or an electric company. Remind me how much they make from batteries?
@Walmart, I can't wait till 2025 when you realize that Tesla's "battery factory" does not make batteries but assembles commodity components (18650 cells from Panasonic mostly) into a simple housing.
The article says 5 percent of revenue comes from that.
And how much amount of profits?
Facts they are a scam
Everyone knows that.
Glad you didn’t say it’s a tech company.
Teslas rich valuation is partly based on their promise of an entirely 'full self driving' fleet. I do not believe it's feasible with their current hw. But I hope Elon can prove me wrong like he did so many times before. Teslas one of few people companies in the auto industry that can do SW properly though (the other being NIO), and their vehicle platform is better than anything else on the market. That said I do not own any Tesla and I think even at the current price they are overvalued.
When you say you don’t own any Tesla, are you talking about the car or the stock?
It should be obvious to anyone the hardware is insufficient for a robotaxi. Not even about lidar or the compute. Even just fog, glare, etc. The whole robotaxi thing is just an elon stock pump. Which apparently worked.
But I am seeing a lot of Tesla cars on the streets. Who make those?
