how is the work for software engineers in Tesla. Is it a common norm to work 90hr/ week and get sub standard pay ??
If it's 90/hr weeks at tesla... they won't have time to respond on blind. Let the test begin.
90 hrs/ week is ridiculous. The pay, I think everyone agrees, is lower and there is a lot of work. If you don't care as much about the product you'll hate it.
what is the demographic like in eng? I was considering Tesla, but my worry was that I won't fit in due to the assumption that the eng team would be much older than me due to the office location. what is your take on that?
idiot! you can learn TONS from good older folks that you can't from same quality younger folks. nice ageism.
It depends on the team, but in general, the engineering team is young. You've definitely got some older more experienced guys but I wouldn't about standing out because you're too young.
