Tesla will flop in India
As usual Indians will buy it to show off to others, but there will be crap charging infrastructure. Most stations will not work properly and the country overall lacks the ability to build top notch charging infrastructure.

I have a thousand things that i can criticize modi on, but Indiaâs transportation and highways ministry has done a great job and has a solid vision for EVs. Plus india has thousands of gas stations across all its highway network that could easily accommodate charging stations.
Guess what, we already have hundreds of charging stations in tier 1 cities, where else do you think all these swiggy and zomato delivery folks get their e bikes charged?
People said the same thing about Digital India program. Data rates are some of the cheapest here, and UPI changed the commerce landscape altogether. India has its problems, but more people are working on solving them too. No need to trash an entrepreneur

Tesla is not the only EV. There are other manufacturers too and they are going to share the charging infrastructure. You think those billion dollar companies are stupid?
The charging infra is already really good in highways. There is a working charging station every 100kms in most states. Folks are regularly driving from Delhi to Munnar in EVs with just 300kms Range. Even resorts have EV charging stations. Keep living in delusion.
