Asking on behalf of a friend. Hello Everyone, I interned at Texas instruments this summer in Dallas Texas. They are willing to give me a return offer for a full time role, and will offer me a system engineer position based out of Dallas TX. For context: I am a MS + PhD graduate from Top 20 US universities and have relevant experience to the work that I will be doing there. My questions: What should be my salary expectations and the breakdown of compensation typically offered for this role. What level will I be typically starting at ? (Internal hierarchy in TI) What are the key things to keep in mind when negotiating? #tech #texasinstruments #texasinstrumentscompensation
Hiring new college grads as systems engineers is pretty new to TI so, it’s hard to tell what to expect. However, I’ve been at TI Dallas a total of 5 years and systems for 2 and my base salary is $115k. Definitely ask for stock like thrifty mentioned
It's semiconductors so the offer won't be high on salary. Try to get stock.
What is the general expectations for Dallas area?
