I’m your standard FAANG story. State school BA in CS, worked at some mid tier companies before making it to Amazon and then Google. 6 years total, 3 of which were post-degree. Been getting spammed my recruiters the last few weeks, mostly mid-tier but a handful of big names including Meta and Microsoft. The was not the case >1 month ago. Tech recession is canceled, molten-lava job market is returning Tc: $290k
Fed has just said today they are slowing rate hikes. Not too much longer will come a pause and by sometime next year they'll already be talking about cuts again. CPI will continue printing lower and we'll be back to business as normal by the end of next year.
Likely even mid 2023 as investors will start competing to get into the business first.
So the recession isn't cancelled, it's postponed
Can you forward me the recruiter email
