The weak job market
I'm seeing very qualified people who have been jobless for a year. What the hell is going on? The broader economy is solid, but the job market is super tight.
Everyone is leetcoding these days, this has raised the bar for tech positions.

More and more “very qualified people” will end up jobless in the future because the hiring processed is dumb and designed for leetcode. Real SWE’s do real development work, not college crap.
Not what we are experiencing in the SF Bay area. It's impossible to hire and the dumbest candidates already have competing offers

I agree. I have been doing analytics for so many years now, I think I know my shit. Can't get through one fucking interview, because there are so many fucking applications for one job.
When you mean qualified you mean tech qualified? Or just anyone with a degree?
