Currently have two new grad offers from Nuro and Lyft L5 (returning intern) Nuro's cash portion of comp is higher then Lyft, but it is private and Lyft offers ridiculous amount of stock. Anyone have any thoughts on Nuro in terms of work culture, eng teams, etc. Is it worth taking the risk to join a smaller company for potentially higher reward later on?
Nuro is doing exciting stuff but they will need to burn a lot more money till they get to a point where they generate sizeable revenue. Not sure how solid Lyft AV program is tbh - assuming you’ll know better as you interned there.
I personally would find Nuro more exciting
Lyft.
hmm... can you provide more thoughts on nuro?
I haven't heard too many good things about lyft's av program, but haven't worked there personally. Nuro offers are team specific too Comp upside isn't as important as the soft skills you learn from being at a small company as new grad imo
What team at Nuro are you on? Perception?
Who the fck is Nuro? Lyft easy. Don’t worry about cash.
Exp at a larger company opens more doors. Unless Nuro becomes wildly successful, it wont matter as much as Lyft.
