Recently promo sde2 at Amazon. I think I can get more TC and be happier elsewhere (or just dive and save at Amazon). The traditional interview process is very grueling and Triplebyte seems to streamline it a bit. Any thoughts or previous experience on using Triplebyte?
They are good if you want to talk to a bunch of startups. Not many larger companies on the list (Dropbox is probably one of the rare larger companies using it)
It's an interview shortcut and companies have to pay to be in the platform. If you're willing to change companies, put in some work and look for places you want to join. Most places treat SDEs well during the interview process because they know you have options, so not sure what the value add is unless you're very unhappy where you are and need to leave asap
Good option if you have no resume. Not needed once you do

How big are the balls of Google to lay off thousands and then do 70 BILLION in stock buyback?
Pros: You get tons of interviews up front You will get a lot of offers Cons: They put together a packet about you and share that with other companies. They put you on a rating scale. So they set the initial impression of you so getting an offer at the right level is hard
