Thoughts on Volvo EV
Please share your experience with Volvo EV Need an SUV to accommodate growing family. Looking for something reasonably priced amidst job uncertainty. Any other EV SUV suggestions are welcome.
They’ve never been known for great reliability so it’s unlikely I’d ever buy or lease one.
While I do not have one, i was considering it a few months ago and test drove it among other EV and PHEV SUV's. It would be my 3rd EV over all. It drives nice, but a bit too small for an EV IMHO. I absolutely hate the 250mi range that was considered breakthrough 3-4 years ago, nowadays pretty dull. EDIT i had an XC90 about 8 years ago and it was pretty much behind the competition when it comes to options, and so they are still today.

Volvo is no longer a Swedish company. Cars now made in China.
My XC90 was built in Sweden. The new EX90 will be built in South Carolina. Engineering and design is done in Gothenburg Sweden.
