They are shares of stock. When you call them stocks you sound like a noob.
They used to double (or even triple) every year. 20% is not even going to make up for the inflation. I just sold mine yesterday when it reached 1600. I'm planning to buy in again if it falls back to 1300. But honestly 20% is not much of growth potential.
Try find something that'll double in 2019. How about that?

These same assholes were saying to avoid tech stocks during the recent dip, now that the market is up they say buy buy buy. Dont trust these shitty analysts. Think long term. Long term Amazon had always been a strong company as they are dominating in retail and cloud and placing themselves in all the right places at the right times. If you believe Amazon will stay number one in online shopping and cloud, buy yesterday
