Tipping post Meta layoff?

Guys, lots of carnage among FAANG companies these days with job losses amd TC reduction. Are you all planning on saving money by cutting back on spending, which may include not tipping your DoorDash drivers or restaurant waiters? PS: not being cheap. Just making changes based on ground reality

if u can’t afford to tip when u eat out then don’t

Shopify ydzgrW Nov 12, 2022

No, I don't tip even if I can afford it. This tipping culture is toxic

Capital One yqRs00 Nov 12, 2022

The way to change that isn't to not tip, that's cruel. It's to vote, lobby, be vocal that you want service workers to be paid fairly.

This is so funny

Meta zjSr17 Nov 12, 2022

wow this is gross

Snap JEXz02 Nov 12, 2022

The poll doesn’t even give an option for not tipping

Amazon BabyHands Nov 12, 2022

I don’t tip when ordering from these apps…I don’t like being the customer and employer at the same time.

Capital One yqRs00 Nov 12, 2022

You think tipping makes the difference? If you work at FAANG, please don't stop tipping your hourly workers who rely on tips just to make rent. Cut back of travel, tech, discretionary spending.

Amazon rqim58 Nov 12, 2022

I prefer to not tip, not that I can’t afford but the point is then you become the reason food industry continue to underpay their employees.

Google schoolSux Nov 12, 2022

Well you are a wildly inconsiderate human being

Applied Material zUoX78 Nov 12, 2022

That’s the objective of Feds tightening

Oracle EbNB31 Nov 12, 2022

If you can’t tip 20% then you can’t afford to order/eat out. Don’t be a piece of shit OP though it sounds like you already are. Service workers work harder than all of us. TC 240.

Microsoft 大鸡把 Nov 12, 2022

I don't tip 20% unless the whole experience was fantastic and nobody was rude or had attitude (rare in 2022). Only twice or thrice in my life I've done that.

Wayfair essyunbiom Nov 12, 2022

Dordash sucks regardless with all its fees

Toast r@hulligm@ Nov 12, 2022

if you're in cali, newsom's got your back...no need to tip
