Tips for Pinterest or other companies for hr
I’m really wanting to work at Pinterest. It’s my dream company, any tips for getting an interview?? Any advice would be great! #hr
Dream company? Why? All they do is pinboards.
- they pay really well - they have interesting tech - you could almost say about any company "all they do is [down played boring way description of what they do]"

Hi! HR professional at Pinterest here. People are so rude on this site. Sigh. Anyways, just like HR at EVERY company right now, it's pretty intense in our department: high hiring needs, ever-changing remote world, stress, etc. However, unlike many other companies (especially tech), Pinterest is really great about work-life balance, putting employee health first, and just generally being kind to one another in this stressful world. If you want to come to a tech company actually trying to make the internet a more positive place and add to people's real lives (off the internet), come to Pinterest. If you want to go to a company focused on world domination and keeping their users addicted to screens, go somewhere else.
That’s amazing to read I really wanted to join because I felt I aligned super well with the team and mission sadly when I received the offer it was too hard to accept over the competing one (due to being in other country + lower pay) Maybe one day there’s a better moment, I appreciate a lot what you people are doing there.
