Ever gotten so progressive you looped back into being reactionary and classist? 😂 https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-homeless-shelter-lawsuit-san-francisco-20190710-story.html
Pure NIMBYism.
NIMBY is good. YIYBY is evil.
That's how you checkmate Democrats! Wanna defeat Bernie? Just buy a few scientists to claim that free healthcare increases gun ownership, and is bad for illegal immigrants.
Funny that you brought up guns. I recall NY state dems railing against gun owner's insurance after years of wanting guns to be insured like cars. Turns out insurance was a good idea all along and gun owners embraced it. The lesson here is that the easiest way to change some people's minds is to agree with them 🤯
Who wants to turn their house into a negative asset to help the homeless?
Bingo
OP please adopt 2 homeless guys.
La petite bourgeoisie == not in my backyard
They have every right to complain since homeless shelters are a neighborhood nuisance. Well, not the shelter, but the homeless people
We care, but not that much.
Shelters should be built on open land far away from the city. Ideally with barbed wire fencing to secure the perimeter. Building shelters in the middle of the city is bad policy - bad for home values, bad for public safety, bad for tourism, and hence bad for the economy.
Pelosi’s place would work perfectly. There is already a wall around it.
...how do people get back on their feet if their shelter is in the middle of nowhere? And wtf barbed wire? It’s a shelter, not a prison.
Typical SF hypocrisy. Reminds me of this other noble and pure SF creation:

Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
This is why people hate environmental regulations.
Do homeless people even know that? How can they hate without knowing?
Wasn't referring to homeless people. Was referring to the fact that "environmental regulations" are just a vehicle to enact and preserve bad policy.
