To the Microsoft people who are excited about Jim Cramer talking about including Microsoft in FAANG
This literally is meaningless for you as an employee. Blind completely misses the point of what FAANG is. FAANG is just a list of companies with stocks that perform well and are good investments (the acronym was also coined and popularized by Jim Cramer) It doesn't have anything to do with having good tc, or being a good place to work. I see some people saying Microsoft can't be FAANG because it doesn't pay well enough, and someone else said it can't be a faang because faang's are all customer products while Microsoft is too commercial...(?) None of this has anything to do with being a FAANG company, it's just a list of Jim Cramer's favorite tech stocks. Definition I copy pasted: "FAANG is an acronym for the market's five most popular and best-performing tech stocks, namely Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Alphabet's Google"

That'd be nice, private investments make up <1% of investments iirc though, and I'm not sure how many serious brokers watch Mad Money and take JC seriously I think the only people that take faang seriously is people on blind
