Tech companies to avoid as a white guy?
Wow! Didn't know they own all of it! Their stock description: "Match Group Inc., IAC/InterActivecorp (IAC), through its portfolio companies provides dating products available globally. The Company’s portfolio of brands includes Tinder, Match, Meetic, OkCupid, Hinge, Pairs, PlentyOfFish, and OurTime, and other brands designed for users' likelihood to find a meaningful connection. Through its portfolio companies and their brands, the Company provide tailored products and enables connections across the spectrum of age, gender and dating goals. Its products are available in over 40 languages to users all over the world." Which of these have you known to be the most reliable for meeting in real life face to face? Poll:
None of the above. How much did you buy?
Not yet. Only read their stock portfolio description.
I've probably met ~35 people from Tinder realistically, and none from the others, so probably that one.
This reads like an ad. The success of this company will be in the failure of their products to do what they promise to. Once you're matched, you just lost a customer. The growth you see now is only because people are getting into online dating. Eventually that growth will plateau.
Interesting point. Should I invest in short term during covid-19? What's your opinion?

Barry, is that you?
BTW luxottica is essentially a monopoly as well in eyewear. Plus they own a bunch of places that sell glasses as well as vision insurance like eyemed.
IAC and MTCH are now separate companies. MTCH could be included in to S&P at some point. I'm long.
You said it in 2020 and now it’s a reality
