Tonal hasn’t announced it yet but they’re already laying off tons of employees. Seems like they’re waiting for an all-hands meeting to let people know. Get ready and be prepared! Did anyone else see it coming? #tonal #layoffs
If Peloton is not doing well, it's hard to see other similar companies excelling. Hardware is a hard business to be in.
Especially expensive exercise Equipment. It’s a niche product
Tonal is increasing the price of their device by $500 too 😃
Yeah from what I hear, it's the worst kept secret at the company. I'm hearing it could be as much as 60% of the workforce which is one of the worst I've seen
Looks like it ended up being 35%. I feel genuinely bad for all these people.
Yeah, they say it was 35%, but I think that's them just trying to save face. Definitely going to end up being 50% or more when it's all said and done.
AmaZon?
Just happened apparently according to a friend. 35% off the workforce got laid off
CNBC is reporting 35% as well. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/07/13/peloton-rival-tonal-cuts-jobs-ahead-of-possible-recession-ipo.html
Which team was impacted?
2 months ago a recruiter told me they were about to raise a big round. I bet that fell apart which led to the need for layoffs
Damn sucks for the people who were employed here.
Who?
It's a strength training exercise equipment company
How have you not seen their ads?
