Been at Asana a few months, just feeling a bit limited in terms of scope. Nothing negative about the company at all, but there's a ton of internal tooling and I can definitely see technical growth stagnating here a bit. Looking to see if anything else is worth trying or whether to stay. I have Google, HRT, Verily, Snap offers from last year - does anyone know if they're willing to keep offers for a bit longer than a year so that I can get my stock vest? Or if they're willing to delay a bit for H1B transfers? Ideally, I'm looking for good tech focus, decent chance the stock goes at least even or positive in the next few years, and a potential path to Senior Staff/Director type roles. I realize that the last one unfortunately biases towards hypergrowth companies and products, but alas. WLB isn't a huge concern, and would prefer SF/NYC rather than remote. This is current list I'm considering: - Google - Facebook - Snap - Airbnb - Stripe - Pinterest - Jane Street - Hudson River Trading - Jump Trading - Radix Trading - PDT Partners - Citadel - Twitter - Two Sigma - Lyft - Uber - ByteDance - Netflix - Databricks - Chime - Plaid - Airtable - Aurora - Discord - Notion - Figma - Brex - Cruise - Verily - Waymo Blind Tax: TC 500k (very stock dependent) 7 YOE Would you stay or leave?
Asana is on your list? Wtf
I vote Asana, rest and vest on a rocket
What was the grant price for you to be at 500k TC now?
You should join Equinox, while TC is low their free gym membership more then makes up for it.
levels.fyi/leaderboard. LinkedIn should be able to pay 450k for your yoe btw.
LinkedIn Senior Staff seems like a really difficult promotion, hence I left off
Have you considered working for Earth's Best Employer with their New & Improved Paybands? :tm:
This is one of the best flexing I have seen in days on blind.
Just so I'm clear, you essentially want the easiest way to make the most amount of money. Am I correct?
No, Iβm looking for growth oriented companies that have at least a neutral outlook and good technical challenges. WLB doesnβt matter to me.
Discord Airtable Plaid Retool Pipe Modern Treasury Stytch ^ various high growth startups
MSFT didnβt make cut to this list?
I've heard MSFT Partner levels are hard to get to. Same reason I left AMZN and Apple off due to L7 and ICT5 being painful.
You should be able to get l66/l67 which will still be higher comp/scope the. Your current level
